“I have a sweet tooth.”

Are you just telling yourself that something is true?  

What if you decided that isn’t true?

Our thoughts create our reality.  “I have a sweet tooth” is just a thought. 

So, choose a different thought.

This recently came up with a client during one of our weekly checkin’s.  They kept saying that they had a sweet tooth.  I introduced a new thought, “I have a need to eat nutritious food.”

It doesn’t mean that sweets are bad or they are to be placed into the “NEVER” column.  It just means that you don’t have to tell yourself when you’re hungry that you have a sweet tooth.

If we think about the outcome we want, rather than always focusing on the outcome we don’t want we are more likely to hit the mark.
